Dr Roger Chang completed his Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine (Distinction) through the University of New South Wales in 2018. Dr Chang has a wide range of clinical experiences with strong interests in child health, emergency care, and complex symptom management.
He was awarded a postgraduate Certificate in Emergency Medicine through the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine in 2020. In 2021, he gained clinical experience as a Senior Resident in General Paediatrics and Paediatric Emergency through the Sydney Children’s Hospital, during which time he completed the Sydney Child Health Program (formerly Diploma of Child Health). In early 2022, Dr Chang will complete his Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine (Royal Australian College of Physicians) through his work at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, looking after patients with advanced cancer, chronic illness and complex symptoms. Dr Chang enjoys teaching future generations of doctors through his role as an Adjunct Associate Lecturer through the University of New South Wales Prince of Wales Clinical School.
Outside of medicine, Dr Chang spends his free time with his partner and their 4 year old rescue dog, Lola. He enjoys indoor bouldering, trying new foods, and spending time with his family. He speaks Mandarin and English.
Dr Chang sees patients by appointments and walk-ins. He consults from Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:30pm and on Fridays from 1:30pm to 5:30pm and one Saturday a month.
