From everyday family medicine to specialist coordination and allied health — all under one roof in Riverwood.
No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours incur a non-attendance fee. This supports fair access to care for all patients.
Caritas Medical Centre opened in April 2006 — built on the foundation of Dr Tarun Chauhan's mother's small clinic in a quiet Riverwood street. Today we are a team of three doctors, five staff members, and two allied health providers, all committed to one thing: the best possible care for this community.
We work with a trusted network of local pathology, radiology and specialist providers who share our belief that excellent communication and genuine continuity of care lead to the best patient outcomes.
"At Caritas, it's about striving to feel well — not simply treating illness."
Our name comes from the Latin word Caritas — the spirit of caring. The tree in our logo is the sacred Tulasi plant, revered in Indian tradition for its healing properties. The open hands represent the partnership between our team and every patient we serve.
From the consulting room to the front desk — skilled, experienced, and genuinely invested in your health.
All aspects of primary care, allied health and specialist coordination — for patients of all ages in Riverwood.
